Here's the article from the Daily Mail:
DAILY MAIL 29/12/2010 Goodies, a festive hit
DESPITE attracting more than 15million viewers every week in the 1970s, the BBC always refused to show a single repeat of The Goodies.
Now after 30 years in the broadcasting wilderness, The Goodies have had the last laugh after becoming the surprise hit of the festive schedules.
For the first time since the series' heyday, the BBC is airing vintage episodes.
Eight classic shows are being screened over the Christmas period and are proving a huge hit - attracting between 500,000 and a million viewers despite a late 11.30pm slot on BBC2.
