Tim has said that in "Kitten Kong" (or another episode where the trandem was suspended on wires) he cut his hand on the brake and had to go to casualty. Apparently the worst part was trying to explain to the (French) nurse what had happened. She told him "Don't be so silly.....!" Fat chance of that! |

According to one of the commentaries on the first DVD, Grae sprained his ankle doing the slow-motion trampoline leaps into the air from the original titles.
Bill's response was "Oh, you should have told me at the time!" |

I know that this is not the right thread but not long ago we were talking about when Graeme copped a smack in the face during the "Lighthouse Keeping Loonies" episode and was wondering if anyone else had noticed the kick to the head poor old Bill got (from Grae) in "Roman Antics" when they were pulled into Tim's bath There must have been heaps of times the Guys got hurt in the line of duty seeing it was such a physical show - can anyone remember other scenes that made the cut so to speak!! Bill : I know when I'm licked cos it feels lovely ! |

mmmm, so many happy, happy memories.... i love all the eps and have just so many favs (and love all 3 guys!!). However, the one that really gets my vote at the moment is the take off of Mccarthy-ism in scoutrageous (u know, the whole scout-finder general thing!)
"Hmm, if you ask me, even one dob seems a bit scouty to me..." Johnny was a chemists son, but Johnny is no more... what Johnny thought was H2O was really H2SO4.....
(Geek alert!! ;P) |

Of course it is! Thank you Lisa - the loose connection between brain and typing hands has come undone again.
In case you care, Rocky and Bullwinkle also ripped off, sorry, paid tribute to, the hanging-off-the-clock-face scene in the story about stolen box tops. Please don't ask me what it was called! |

Right initials, wrong comedian. It's actually Harold Lloyd hanging off the clock face (if we're thinking of the same photo). I think it might have been from an old silent movie called "Safety Last", but I could be wrong about that. |

Radio Goodies get my number one vote, for the dark days speech (which I have saved on my new phone, so that I can watch it whenever I need to smile).
But there are so many fantastic other moments, and I do love it whenever Timbo does his Lady Constance voice. --- Have I ever failed you? |

I have about three favourite Goodies Moments. Greedy aren't I?
No, I love the whole "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY PUSSY?!?!?!?!?!!!" scene from Kitten Kong. I also love the Gender Education film. And let us never forget Tim's Fairy Puff advert!! "Gets right to the dirt of the waaaaaaash!!!" ____________________________________ GRAEME: Will you be coming back tomorrow? SPEV: We might think about it...! GRAEME: See you tomorrow then!
I'm a Very Tasty Girl - Tim said so!! |

As far as stick-in-ya-head images go, you really can't go past Kitten Kong toppling the post office tower. It's like Harry Langdon hanging off the clock face or Maryolin Monroe's flying skirt, a totally iconic image.
My favourite episode changed weekly. At the moment it's U-friend or UFO? |
