I said the 'S' word today.  My friend was having her photo taken for the Herald Sun at the Melbourne Show and the photographer wanted her to look like she was laughing so I said it.  (double embarrassed)

One of my favourite quotes from the Top of the Form sketch:

John: Stig, what is the capital of North Korea?
Graham: Pyongyang
John: Er, yes, but I'm not allowed to give you any marks for that because nobody likes a clever-dick!

Shh, don't say it! I'm glad other people have heard it too, I thought I was going mad. Trust Graham to choose such an anatomically rude word, heehee, no wonder Tim cracked up! Also, this might very well be me going mad, but after Marty says *ahem* that word to Tim, does it sound like Tim says "small..." before stopping himself and giving the proper answer? If so, it only makes that bit even more naughty. Heehee, it's great!

Oh, and I have to give an honourable mention to Tim as Lust, perhaps the best character name ever!

In Graham Chapman's 'Liar's Autobiography' he says something like (and this is shameful paraphrasing, coz I havent' read it for a while) :

"Then there was Marty Feldman, dressed inconspicuously as usual, blending into the background in a bright blue kaftan and a golden crown, preceeded by flower-strewers and followed by a string of devoted followers."

The more I hear about this Marty character, the more interesting he sounds...

(PS please don't beat me up for getting the book quote wrong.  If you *really* care, I can go look it up and post the right one next time.  But that's the general point Graham was making.)

In an attempt to make everyone else around him laugh Marty inevitability looses it himself.  Makes you wonder exactly what when on off set or when the camera was on someone else - those antics alone would make a very funny show 

ps Tim in Radio Goodies (singlet and shorts) GRROOOOWWLLLL!!! *ahem*

Sorry, I'm having still visions of Marty Feldman as Salome (?) the Schoolgirl... and his errant wig.

Speaking of playing dress-ups, all three Goods look quite smashing in school uniform from War Babies, don't they?

I think Tim must be naturally good at not corpsing. They always seemed to be trying to make him laugh.

They all look SO cute as little boys and girls. Graeme looked especially funny as a girl.
