As we previously mentioned, the I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue recording in Peterborough will have two guest panellists since Tim will be unavailable that evening.  As announced in the Peterborough Evening Telegraph, Jack Dee will be the second guest that evening, joining Graeme Garden, Barry Cryer, and Andy Hamilton.  (The article erroneously says Tim will be there that evening but that is not correct).

Comedy fans are in for a treat after Jack Dee was announced as the special guest for a city recording of one of the nation's best-loved radio programmes.
The deadpan comic will join a panel of regular favourites Barry Cryer, Graeme Garden and Tim Brooke-Taylor at the Broadway Theatre on Tuesday, December 4, where hit show I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue will be recorded for broadcast.

The announcement in September that Peterborough would host the long-running BBC Radio 4 show prompted a rush on tickets that saw more than 1,000 seats snapped up on the day they were released.

Although off-air at the moment, the show was first broadcast in 1972 and sees regulars take part in popular games including Mornington Crescent, while its long-serving chairman, jazz musician Humphrey Lyttleton, keeps order.

The Broadway is just one of four venues across the country that will host the recording of the show this year, and manager Dave King said staff were looking forward to the arrival of the programme.

He said: "It's been one of my favourite programmes on air for longer than I can remember.

"I can't wait to see Mornington Crescent live and I was over the moon at the announcement that Jack Dee would be coming here. he has become a comedy icon."

The comic follows in well trodden footsteps, with previous special guests including Stephen Fry, Paul Merton and Sandy Toksvig.

Jack is now established as one of Britain's best-loved and biggest comedy stars.

The winner of three British Comedy Awards, his stand-up career began in 1986 when he delivered his first open mic spot at the famous London Comedy Store.

Throughout the '90s he hosted a series of television shows and has appeared in dramas including Silent Witness, The Grimleys, Dalziel and Pascoe and Jonathan Creek.

The series Lead Balloon, in which he stars, returns to BBC2 this Thursday, November 15 at 9.30pm

The sell-out Broadway show follows a full house for comic Billy Connolly in October.
