Never say never is my motto! If half the so called video nasties of 1984 can be re-released uncut then I'm sure that the law of averages dictates that non offensive material like the Goodies will get the same re-issue treatment!



Then again.... doesnt someone in the Beeb think the Goodies are offensive!!!

Dream on! That looks like it won't happen, only a few eps are going to be released on dvd, and that one hasn't be touted as a contender. Oh well when I get my recordable dvd player then i'll knock out some dvds i guess.

Yeah your confusing it with another episode from 1980 called Goodies and politics, which in my view is much better than the beanstalk episode. It also has some neat parodies of generation game, call my bluff and also Blankety blank. If you want a copy i can help you!

I seem to remember that in the Goodies and the Beanstalk there was a brief scene where Stuart Hall was shown as a cardboard cut out laughing manically in his own unique way!! As a child watching it back in the 70s I thought this was one of the funniest things in the whole episode! However, on the video release the Beeb put out a few years back, this scene is missing. Anyone any ideas why? Surely Mr Hall didn't ask for it to be removed, or is this small scene part of my overactive imagination?
