Bill's spoken about his problems with depression in a number of interviews over the past few years.  However, I don't believe he's manic depressive; if I remember correctly his problem is clinical depression.  I give him a lot of credit for speaking about it so openly in the hopes of helping others.

Rolf Harris - Giving The World Someone To Make Fun Of For Forty Years.

No, I'm sure he's alright, but Britain can keep him. He did a good picture of Elizabeth, though.

I heard an interview once with Bill and he said he was a manic depressive. That's so sad. But he was really lovely and sweet and you just wanna give him a big cuddle! Doesn't suprise me at all that he was in the top 5.

Who were the others? I don't get this sort of news 'round my side of the planet.

I watch Andrew Denton interview Rolf Harris once and he is actually not a bad bloke,  I think in his younger days he may have been a bit of a pratt (that seems to come with fame and riches)but as he aged he seemed to out grow it - it only took him 40 years.  But I'm not surprised Bill made that list cos he gives the impression of being very straight forward and not one to fluff any thing but give it to you straight down the line.  Honest is the word I'm looking forward (that and pretty darn cute)

Bill : I know when I'm licked cos it feels lovely !

' Not sure this has already been mentioned (I don't *think* it has, apologies otherwise), but our Bill has been voted (according to Readers Digest) the fourth most trustworthy man in Britain    The reasons stated for this accolade were the fact that he seems gregarious and sociable and is obviously a terribly kind person, thanks to his love of animals.  He even beat that nice nice man Michael Palin.
Guess who was one ahead of Bill, at Number Three.............

Rolf Harris.

And didn't Sir David "The Bloooooo Whaaaale" Attenborough come first or second?

Wonder where Dr Petal came... it sounds a bit Nice PErson of the Year-ish...

How bizarre!!!

Erm.  Obviously I don't mean the fact that you nearly Married Him And Had His Babies - merely the fact that he looks like the good doctor AND his name is Graeme spelt in the non-standard way!!!

Erm... to keep this on topic....

Er........  uhm...  errrrr.......

That gorgeously amazingly stunning Yamaha kit.....................  *sigh*

Oooh and in Change of Life - HOW tight were Bill's jeans??!?!?!?!?!  He had VPL!!!!!!!!!

Phew, I thought I'd imagined it.

Here's the rub: his name actually is Graeme.  We very nearly Got Married And Had Babies.  When I rediscovered The Goodies, it took me a long time to warm to Dr G... I kept seeing my ex!
