Here are my thoughts on the matter... Alan Alda and Mel Gibson in "What Women Want" 1. Mel Gibson and Sean McGinley in "Braveheart 2. Sean McGinley and Dennis Waterman in "Circles of Deciet : Dark Secret" 3. Dennis Waterman and Beryl Reid in "Comdey Tonight" 4. Beryl Reid and Tim Brooke Taylor in the Goodies episode "Gender Education" See if anyone can find a more direct route to Tim ..... And remember all Roads let to Rome or Tim as the case may be. According to IMDb, the Earth's biggest movie database, stated that John Cleese appeared in "The Goon Show" in 1969 as himself/announcer. Bill : I know when I'm licked cos it feels lovely ! |

OK I've tackled Lee Majors (and got really hurt in the process) so here goes. Lee Majors and Martin Balsam in " The Six Million Dollar Man" 1. Martin Balsam and Blake Edwards who directed "Breakfast at Tiffany's 2. Black Edwards and Peter Sellers in "The Pink Panther" - directed 3. Peter Sellers and John Cleese in "The Goon Show" 4. John Cleese and Tim Brooke Taylor in "At Last the 1948 Show" as well as various other projects/university/friendship. I use to love the six million dollar man and even got the action figure for christmas as a child. No barbie doll for me, i was stoked OK if someone else would like to suggest a person we'll go from there. Bill : I know when I'm licked cos it feels lovely ! |

Hey Alex the rules of the game can be found in the articles section of the menu but basically someone suggests a person, usually an actor and you must make a link to TBT within 6 moves. The least moves to make the link gets more points. Here is my suggestion for John Wayne. John Wayne and Henry Fonda in "How the West was One" 1. Henry Fonda and Donald Crisp in "Battle of Midway" 2. Donald Crisp and David Niven in "Wuthering Heights" 3. David Niven and Kenneth Williams in "Parkinson" 1971 4. Kenneth Williams and Joan Sims in "Carry on Dick" and various other Carry on movies 5. Joan Sims and Tim Brooke Taylor in Goodies episodes " Way outward Bound" and "Wicked Waltzing" Can anyone beat that as it seems a bit long winded? If not how about Lee Majors (from the Bionic Man show and ex husband of Farrah Fawcet Major) as our next canidate. Bill : I know when I'm licked cos it feels lovely ! |
