Excellent news.  Looking forward to that.

September gives everyone PLENTY of time to make arrangements (no sick notes from your mother accepted)...

I went to see them at the Prince Charles Theatre, London this morning. They were fab!  They showed the two episodes 'Movies' and 'Bunfight at the OK Tea Rooms' before the Q+A session began.

Apparently there will be a third DVD released in the UK in September and a fourth DVD containing their ITV episodes will be released sometime after that!  Good news, huh?

It was a great morning and everyone had a good time. Glad I heard about that event on the website!  Thanks for the tip-off!

Isn't it a treat having all these Goodies interviews on this week! I am in heaven! I thought the Art Show was particularly good, and also the Simon Mayo one. Looking forward to the Green Room one later tonight ....

R+J cameacross much better than they did last year when T+G were talking about the first dvd and Bet The Nation! Great stuff. I missed the first 5 mins. Had to dash hrought the streets of Brum in a big blue van put the video on and hurtle off again!
They were good on Danyy Baker too! I will be transferring that to disc for my sad archives!

Two things: firstly, did anyone see them on the London News programme this evening - would love to know about how it went, what was asked etc. Secondly, I thought they came across as so pleasant and such fun on the Richard and Judy show - they are such lovely guys, and once they get going there is no stopping them! Wish GG had said a bit more though! The Australian shows are going to be such a treat, and the audiences are going to go wild, I should think!

I just watched Richard and Judy...missed the first 5 minutes but still caught THE GOODIES!!
I was very interested to see a clip of come dancing IN COLOUR!!!. As far as I was aware, no (decent quality) colour version existed. This clip as far as I could tell was as good quality as all the other eps, which is pretty good, considering their age! I wonder if this is to be a treat that we were not expecting on the DVD. I hope so

TBT: But those aren't art lovers - they're Americans

Isn't it exciting that they'll be on the Richard and Judy show tomorrow? ! When is the last time they were all on television together? Can't wait!

Here's some updated info about the Danny Baker interview on 7th Feb.

The studio producer for the Danny Baker Breakfast show on BBC London 94.9 has written to tell us that the Goodies will be appearing on the show at approx 8.05am on monday 7th february (london time).

There is a Listen Live link at http://www.bbc.co.uk/london/insideldn/radio/index.shtml; the station is on digital radio in the greater London area).  Danny Baker is on the air from 6:00-9:00am.

Tim Brooke-Taylor has kindly sent us a preliminary list of interviews the Goodies will be doing in the UK to promote the release of their new DVD "The Goodies - At Last a Second Helping".

Click on the "click here for more" link at the bottom of this box for more details.

As was the case two years ago, there are likely to be additional interviews that we don't know about in advance.  If you hear of anything please let us know (via the Forums or goodies-l mailing list) as soon as possible.  Also, several of the interviews listed below are being pre-recorded.  Therefore, it is possible that they will air at a different time than we've been told.  I've tried to indicate where this is a possibility.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
7th February:  7.45am - BBC London with Danny Baker.  There is a Listen Live link at http://www.bbc.co.uk/london/insideldn/radio/index.shtml; the station is on air at 94.9FM.  This is supposed to be a live interview. Danny Baker is on the air from 6:00-9:00am.
7th February: sometime between 6.10-7.00pm - BBC Scotland Arts.
I was given the name as "BBC Scotland Arts", I believe this is "The Arts Show" (whose homepage is at http://www.bbc.co.uk/scotland/radioscotland/view/show.shtml?arts).  There is a Listen Now link at the top of the page (near the BBC Radio Scotland logo).
The station is on air at 92-95 fm and 810 mw.  This interview will be pre-recorded so it should appear sometime during the show, which airs from 1810-1900. There is a Listen Again option for this show; since the show airs Monday-Friday I'd guess that each episode will be available for approximately 24 hours after broadcast.
7th February: 5pm - Richard & Judy (Channel 4).  This is a television show (to the best of my knowledge, it will not be available on-line).
7th February: The Goodies will be giving doing an interview for The Herald this day.  I don't know when it will appear.  The newspaper has a website at http://www.theherald.co.uk/ (I don't know if the article will appear in the online edition).
8th February: 7.45am - XFM Chris O'Connell Breakfast Show - Bill will be doing a phone interview. There is a Listen Now link at http://www.xfm.co.uk/. The station is on air at 104.9FM.  While Bill's call-in is supposed to happen at 7.45am please note that the Breakfast Show airs from 6.00-10.00am.  The webpage for the Breakfast Show is at
http://www.xfm.co.uk/sectional.asp?id=622
8th February: 6.00pm London Tonight interview on ITV.  This is a television show (to the best of my knowledge, it will not be available on-line).
11th February: 2.30pm: Interview with Simon Mayo's Radio 5 Live Show.  There is a Listen Live link at http://www.bbc.co.uk/fivelive/programmes/mayo.shtml.  The station is available on air at 909 & 693AM.
11th February: sometime between 10.00pm-midnight. Radio 2's Green Room. This is a pre-recorded interview; I don't know when in the show it'll air (though it's possible it may be at 11.30pm). There is a Listen Live link at http://cgi.bbc.co.uk/radio2/shows/arts/.  It appears there is a Listen Again link as well.
12th February 2005: 10.30am - The Goodies Screening Plus Q&A, Prince Charles Cinema, London.  The Goodies will be present to introduce two episodes and then do a Q&A and DVD signing.  The cinema is located at 7 Leicester Place in London.  Their website is at http://www.princecharlescinema.com/.
