JessPix :

' Too many to mention, but here's just a few:
...
- Tim's first cry (Tower of London): When the Goodies get to Buckingham Palace, "It was him, it really was him!" Tim's crying is just too cute for words. How did he make such a high-pitched noise?!

Ok, I'll leave it at that for now, but I could go on all day!

I think this pic shows the moment: Bill uses Tim's ruff to mop his tears for him - very touching!

I don't have to take this kind of thing from you, you know! But I'm going to...

In the episode 'Stone Age'  when Graeme falls through the floor he seems to hit the edge of the hole pretty hard - OUCH!!.  Just another example of how much the lads put up with for the sake of comedy excellence    (hmmm - I wonder if Tim wrote that scene  )

Too many to mention, but here's just a few:

- The Bootles (from Goodies Rule OK): I adore that insert shot of Macca turning his back to the Goodies.
- Oh-Boy Special (from Hype Pressure): Possibly the looniest thing they did, which is why I love it. Tim's singing/screaming has me in stitches, and Graeme slashing the seats is also hilarious
- Graeme's zip-up suit (from Snooze and Kitten Kong): I want one!
- The end of The End: Just for Tim's spectacular futuristic hair.
- Tim and Bill on the moon (from Invasion of the Moon Creatures): One of my favourite episodes. The image of them being carried away by rabbits makes me laugh.
- Tony Blackburn (Scatty Safari): From Tim's distress at Tony fading fast to Tony getting shot by the hunter, it's all good.
- Tim's first cry (Tower of London): When the Goodies get to Buckingham Palace, "It was him, it really was him!" Tim's crying is just too cute for words. How did he make such a high-pitched noise?!
- Rice Crunchies: My favourite spoof ad. Not only is Tim adorable as the school boy, but the cereal exploding in his face makes me fall off my chair with laughter.

Ok, I'll leave it at that for now, but I could go on all day!
Jess.

I agree!  I love it when people are desperately trying to keep a straight face, but can't quite manage.

Nothing like a good bit of corpsing on screen.
Sometimes I think the funniest part of all shows is when the actors lose control a little.

A funny scene (as apposed to a hurty one) that comes to mind was the one in 'Hunting Pink' when Tim mentions out loud that he should hire new domestic staff and Grae and Bill rush back into the room.  Well,  Grae slips on the mat grabs Tim and Bill dissolves into a fit of giggles - so much so he has to shove his hat in his mouth to keep from laughing outloud.  Also Tim does not turn back toward the camera giving rise to the suspicion that he may also be laughing.    ps I think Jesspix has put this particular scene up on youtube if anyone hasn't seen it

Yeah, it's on the Kitten Kong commentary.  I think the photographer mentioned was a John Smith (?)  Was watching it earlier today

I think Tim mentions it on the 1st DVD when they talk over the top of Kitten Kong - I could be wrong & heard it somewhere else but I have a feeling that's where I heard that story before - it's been a while since I watched it - too long.

Tim: "I sometimes wake up screaming: The Minx, The Minx!"

a couple of years ago I submitted an old magazine article to the C&G in which Tim mentioned the incident in which the wire broke when the trandem was suspended.  Tim spoke about his hand or wrist being caught and that a photographer who was on the set (probably from the Radio Times or a similar publication) suddenly realized he wasn't a news photographer and rushed over to help Tim out.

Sorry to be foggy on the details.

And was it the 'Winter Olympics at the north pole' episode where the wires holding up the flying trandem broke, and left Tim with a shiner that can still be seen at the start of Black Magic?
