Leela... I don't think anyone could EVER forget you guys (UK fans, and people in general)...you're such an integral part of who we are...both here in the club, and as a nation. I think anyone who is able to attend the get-together, would be wishing that you and all the other lovely UK members could be there to share the fun. (Hmmm...I wonder if it would be possible for a few people attending to share some videotaping of the event, and down-load it onto the site?) 'Go on...you know it makes sense!' |

Would it be intended as a 'do' just for GROK members and staff? 'Go on...you know it makes sense!' |

How would we feel about October/November? It'd be warm enough and it'd give enough advance warning to save up, get time off work etc. I'll work out which city to hold it in based on your feedback, find a suitable park, lock it all in and find a nice hat! I myself brought him in last week - drunk and disorderly. But when I sobered up, he'd gone. Sorry. (P.C. BENT) |

I'd love to go (particularly to a Sydney one). Although the 'getting there' could be tricky (I would need to catch a flight or take a coach bus, as I am nervous about driving in high density traffic (especially if I am not familiar with the roads). My availability would also depend a lot on whether my husband had commitments on the chosen weekend (as I would have to look after the kids). I think it'd be a fab idea, if you can get enough interestd folk. 'Go on...you know it makes sense!' |

I've actually been discussing this with Lisa, who ran it by a few other GROK staffers. I'd like to host a Goodies fan picnic, either in Sydney or Melbourne, later in the year. Would anyone be interested in taking part if I organised it? I myself brought him in last week - drunk and disorderly. But when I sobered up, he'd gone. Sorry. (P.C. BENT) |

Are there any other GROK members from Canberra (or ACT)here, besides me? I feel a bit isolated. 'Go on...you know it makes sense!' |
