Will this do?
See how much I'm trying to avoid exam revision!
But yes, Bill really should release his back catalogue. It's a shame that Bill seems quite unwilling to do it though, especially given in the Beanstalk commentary he's not very happy at his songs being covered over with sound effects, dialogue and audience laughter.
One can hope that one day it will happen *crosses fingers*

It'd be a nice little money spinner if he were to do a limited independant release (if he were to do it properly). Though I read/heard somewhere that he didn't want to release his back catalogue... EVER... which is a bit sad, cause there's a lot of good stuff there. So we may be stuck listening to crackly radio recordings for a while yet. |

Can we put this up in great big letters with lights around it somewhere Bill's gonna see it? If Aunty Jack Sings Wooloongong's had a CD re-release, it's high time we were able to hear Dumb Animals without silly sound effects and laughter over it....
Please Bill? We'll pay good money for it. |

Thanks ever so much for the songs, much appreciated.
I'm listening to them now and enjoying them very much. Bill should release his back catalog, he's got a great musical talent.

I think it's fantastic that Bill's pulled through after all that. Although of course it'd be so much better if he didn't have to go through it at all!
On a much lighter note, I think I've finally got this upload to work! (about 40mb or so)
Try this: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=AH5LJ07U
My very own ISIRTA album chock full of Bill's sparks of genius! I'm praying it'll work, and if it doesn't I shall be very upset so it had better. Fingers crossed! ---------- "I cannot talk to a man who bears an undeserved animosity towards ferrets." -- Graham Chapman |

':-* It really is wonderful that he has come through it. I know from personal experience that it is also very hard on families and his family deserve some praise for helping and supporting him throughout. |
I'll second that... Having seen it from both sides, even when you understand the mechanics of mental illness, that it isn't neccessarily happening 'because' of something someone else can see, its still hard to see someone you love suffering without thinking either 'what did I do to cause it?' or 'what can I do to fix it?' Sadly, the answer to both questions is often 'nothing' - other than be around and be supportive and try not to go mad yourself.
(I have explained this Incredibly Badly. It'll probably end up as one of my long and self-pitying journal entries which I'll delete three days later because it's so similar to all the others....) |
