I've wondered if the HIGNFY researchers downloaded the Potterton Boilers ad from this website. |

I haven't used Grimbling's Music Den for a while but I just downloaded two songs and they're both fine. Perhaps there was a problem and it's since been fixed. Hope so anyway.
The Potterton Boiler Ad is great. Graeme was a panellist on 'Have I Got News For You' back in 2002 and they played it for him. It seemed like he'd completely forgotten about it and excitedly pointed out, "That was me!" when he heard himself singing. At the end he said it was "Terribly good" and the audience laughed and gave a very affectionate round of applause.
Ok, I'll stop rambling now. Jess. --------------

Is anyone else suddenly having trhouble downloading from Grimbling's Music Den?
It was working OK a week ago, but now when I try to download something, it says 'download complete' after only a few seconds and I've only got the first few bars of the song. I thought it was BigPond being dodgy, but I can still download OK from other sites (like this one - how bizzare is the Potterton Boilers ad?!)
Hmmm? |

For a 65 year old, he looks only like a rollicking 40 year old. More power to Mr Oddie. Happy Birthday ________________________________ May the farce be with you! |

Just popped in to wish a very happy 65th to our dear Billikins, who'll still be going at 108.
Also I was just listening to Doctor Who and the Pirates, in which Bill plays the bad guy (five times fast - Billoddiethebaddie Billoddiethebaddie), and this may be backtracking a bit but I have to say it again - he really does make a fantastic evil enemy. Shivers up the spine and all, even though he was a very stereotypical pirate. Worth a listen. ---------- "I cannot talk to a man who bears an undeserved animosity towards ferrets." -- Graham Chapman |
