Lol this made me laugh, studying the 1970’s - I can certainly relate to Tim ..... I work with teachers now who are younger than my children #ithinkihavesaidtoomuch

GOODIES’ GRIEF
The comedy trio the Goodies have recently had all of their BBC shows released on DVD, and Tim Brooke-Taylor hopes that this may introduce them to a new generation. It’s not that they’re lacking in fans, though he’s alarmed when he is approached by old men who say, “I used to be allowed to stay up to watch you!” Younger people make him feel old too. He recently met his colleague Jack Dee’s daughter, who is reading history at Bristol. He asked which period, and was distressed to hear her say “the Seventies”.
