trandem from Bill's 2013 Australia tour up for sale

Ever wanted to own a trandem ridden by Bill Oddie? Australian Goodies fan Carl Burroughs is selling the bike made for Bill Oddie's 2013 "An Oldie but Goodie" Tour. Carl told me he originally bought the bike as he is a massive Goodies fan. He and his family enjoyed riding the bike and using it for a number of charity events and promotions (it comes with a trailer that can be used to show a large poster). Since the bike hasn't been getting as much use lately he's decided it's time to let another Goodies fan enjoy it. I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue - Series 74 Remote Recordings

Dear I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue Mailing List Member,

This is to let you know that we’ll be recording the next series of ‘I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue’ remotely – or rather you the audience will be remotely watching and laughing along to the show from the comfort of your homes – while we will be sat socially distanced on the stage of the Radio Theatre in Broadcasting House.

So no area of the UK misses out, we’ve decided to virtually locate each of the six shows in the series from a certain nation or region of the UK. So…

Show 1 will come from the South of England, Show 2 from the Midlands, Show 3 from Wales, Show 4 from Northern Ireland, Show 5 from the North of England and Show 6 from Scotland.

And these are the recording dates and times:

Show 1 – Friday 16th April between 6pm -7.25pm
Show 2 - Friday 16th April between 7.45pm - 9.30pm
Show 3 – Friday 7th May between 6pm - 7.25pm
Show 4 – Friday 7th May between 7.45pm - 9pm
Show 5 – Friday 4th June between 6pm - 7.25pm
Show 6 – Friday 4th June between 7.45pm - 9pm

The tickets are free and will be distributed on a first come first served basis by the BBC Ticket Unit and you will need to subscribe to their website in order to apply for tickets. Click here for the subscriber link.

RIP Iain Pattinson

We're saddened to hear of the passing of Iain Pattinson, who worked with Tim and Graeme for decades as a writer on their radio show "I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue". Our deepest sympathies go to Iain's family and friends.

ISIHAC wins Comedy.co.uk Awards 2002 "Best Radio Panel Show"

"I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue" has been named the "Best Radio Panel Show" by Comedy.co.uk Awards 2020.

Quoting from the awards webpage:

The long-running "antidote to panel games" aired its seventy-third series at the end of the year, following the death of long-term player and former The Goodies star Tim Brooke-Taylor in the spring.

Producer Jon Naismith comments: "A big thank you to British Comedy Guide and all who voted for us. We'd like to dedicate this award to our dear departed friend and colleague Tim Brooke-Taylor who brought joy to several generations over his long and illustrious career. I know he would have been thrilled to receive it."

Graeme Garden says: "We're very proud to receive this award in what has been a difficult year for us all."

Jack Dee added: "This is a great honour. Here's to the programme's absent friends!"

Slapstick 2021 (online festival 1-7 March 2021) Goodies-related events

The Slapstick Live Online festival will include an encore showing of "47 Years Without A Clue", the January 2020 "I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue" event with Tim Brooke-Taylor, Graeme Garden, Barry Cryer, Rob Brydon, and Colin Sell. This livestream & chat will be on March 7th. The full festival program (which also includes "Graeme Garden's Comedy Heroes with Rob Brydon" on March 3rd) is available at https://watch.eventive.org/slapstick2021

Note that you can watch any of the events for up to a week after their scheduled time (which is helpful for those of us in various time zones).
