It was great lots of snow Saturday night...only trouble was my eldest, who's birthday was Sunday he's 17 bless, was out with the Scouts on a night hike!!! They were to do 12 "bases" ending up on the biggest hill round here called Winter Hill. We were quite concerned when awake at 3.15 am and we looked out the window... but he phoned at 9am to be picked up so he was alright. The Scout leaders had abandoned the hike before they got to Winter Hill and gone back to base which was a school hall so they had spent part of the night there.!! He opened his cards and then we headed back out to the local park Worden and had a great time playing snowballs and building snowmen. The dog enjoyed ploughing through the snow with its face then sneezing to get the snow out its nose. There were not many other people out that day. Good day all round D
