Wow! That most certainly does help, Andrew, thank you! I suppose I should have expected you'd be the one to know these sorts of things.

The items of music in the show were as follows:

"The Tournament" by the Pavane Orchestra from "Tower and Spires" [As the procession leaves the castle]

Lamerto Gardelli's "La Pissanella" by L'Orchestre de la Suisse Romande [Used during the challenge]

"Functional Fanfare No. 10" by R Tilsley from "Fanfate Showcase" [Used for the announcements]

"The Banquet - Part 1" by the Pavane Orchestra from "Tower and Spires" [Scenes inside castle]

"My Lady Rumsdon's Puffe" by Julian Bream

The other music in the show was:

a general series instruments by Bill Oddie & Michael Gibbs

"I'm Taking You Back" by Bill Oddie & Michael Gibbs

Tim singing "Bring Me Sunshine"

"You're Dancing on my Heart" by Victor Sylvester and his Orchestra

"Swanee" by the George Mitchell Minstrels

"More Minstrel Magic" by the Big Ben Banjo Band

Elgar's "Pomp and Circumstance March in D Major Op. 39 No.1" from "The World of England" by Sir Malcolm Sergeant and the LSO

Hope that helps!

Ha ha -- first post!

Does anyone know -- was all the music in the 'Camelot' episode specially written, or was some of it from stock? I am thinking particularly of the various brass fanfares used throughout; if these weren't specially written, can anyone tell me what the pieces actually are?

Thank you!

David Shepherdson, the singing baboon
