bondgirl :
' What about the voice over which is drowned out a bit with the laughter track in "Almighty Cod" which as the guys riding their bike and waving the cod they pinched off the eskimos and goes like this..... "As the lads show off their cod piece for all the world to see". There are also a few masturbation (can i say that here???) jokes through out the different seasons which are quickly glossed over with the words "You'll go deaf" and the reply "huh!" Good stuff !! |
One that wasn't so glossed over is in 'The End'... Tim states that every man should 'exercise his right to fatherhood''...and Bill replies "You can exercise it all you like, but you won't find much use for it!" 'Go on...you know it makes sense!' |

The Greenie :
' Wow! A Five-year break is quite something!
But what I wanted to humbly add here was the gag in Snooze, which I noticed after about a dozen viewings, in which you can hear an alarm clock, as the mixture is finished and Graeme picks up a sand-watch-alarm-clock!
A good gag, but very clumsily missed by the cameraman, who at that point put on a long shot.
Watch it again and you'll notice! |
wow you are very observant to notice that !! please marry me Grayboots!! |

Whaddaya reckon? Jokes that've been overshadowed by audience laughter from the previous gag or lost in a bigger sequence. Such as:
The second entry in the Giant Book of Tasty Recipes: sweet and sour chartered accountant
The guy in the red top crawling into shot during the Truffaut sequence from Movies and dragging away a bag, which had been left lying on set (whatever the lads say on the commentary, I reckon it was deliberate)
Graeme figuring out which end of the dig' to blow in during the pied piper sequence in Safari - for some reason I thought of that while driving today and suddenly cracked up. |
