I have also wondered why so few episodes are available on DVD - is it really as sneaky as making us buy one lot of DVDs and then another lot? I know it happened to me with 'Father Ted', though... but that's Channel 4. Puzzling and ANNOYING!

I know this question must have been asked many times before but DVD's are an ever changing area. Is there a series of DVD releases that actually cover all the episodes? It appears from what I see that they simply pick some out of each series. I know what this means. At some stage in the future I'll have to buy a bunch of DVD's just to pick up the episodes missed in the cherry picked releases. I don't mind taking my time gathering them but I'd rather do it series by series than collection by non-comprehensive collection.
