' PowerDVD's great. You may have done this already but... if you right click on the PowerDVD window and select Configuration, then Player Setting "Advanced," on the little tab thingy where it says "Snapshot" you can tell the program where to send the pictures.

Hope that just didn't sound like nonesense, just trying to help. It certainly made my screen-capping exploits a whole lot easier.

May your screenshots forever be fun pretty and not as blurry as mine.

Thanks yes i looked at the help area in the program and it told me what you have just type. I had it in clipboard setting and i still cannot find them yet. The ones i have posted are through the settings into snapshot folder as you mentioned.

Your advice and help is certainly not nonesence. :b

The C drive might be your hard drive.  Look to see if there's a folder named Power DVD (or the name of the company that makes it, for example "IBM" or "Intervideo").

You can also sort your files & folders by date, to see which things have been saved most recently.  Sometimes that's a good way to find something you just saved.

' On my PC, there's some free software called WinDVD - it's basically a DVD player.  On the 'remote' there's a button with a camera icon on it - hit that and it takes a photo of what's on the screen at that point.  The toggle-between-frames function is handy for finding the best shot.  Then you can bin the picture if it didn't work, or save it if it did.

If your DVD-playing program doesn't have a screen capture function, you could also use the 'print screen' button (above Insert on a standard keyboard) to copy what's on the screen, then paste it into Paint for cropping/resizing.

JessPix is the Queen of the Screencap, though.  I just dabble...

Thanks jodes. I am printing this out and looking into it.

Its something i want and try and do even if i'm no expert.

I'm trying to take some screen caps with my digital camera of some Goodie pics. I'm very new to this i'm afraid and i have put some of them in my recent journal entry.

My question is or should it be more like advice i'm after on how to take screen shots. Any advice would be great please.
