I have supplied an obituary to the South Australia Doctor Who Club newsletter (PDF).

I'm also sad to hear of Matthew's passing.

I got to meet him at one of the GROK video nights that we held in Melbourne in 1998 and also at the Kitten Kon convention in 2000 and he was very willing to share his vast Goodies knowledge with us in the very early days of the club, which we greatly appreciated.

I am very sorry to hear this.
Further details if they become available.

I have just learnt today about the death of Matthew K Sharp at the age of only 42.  Many of you may remember his important work on documenting not just "The Goodies" but other comedy and imaginative televisions shows.  I had the pleasure of corresponding with him some years ago and he was always a generous and enthusiastic fella whom I sadly never got the chance to meet.

My thoughts are with his friends and family.

RIP Matthew
